Impressions & Artwork
Plateau is perhaps one of the must-have ABU dual lands because of the artwork change. I really love the colors of this card, with the large boulders strewn from the high cliffs of the plateau. Drew Tucker masterfully highlighted the angle of the sun as it angled through the landscape.
Looking at the new artwork for plateau in the revised edition, it is really a shame that the artwork was changed. Apparently, the hard drive storing the image had crashed. The new version was painted by Cornelius Brudi and misattributed to Drew Tucker, which can be read about here.
Usage & Gameplay
Plateau remains one of the cheapest dual lands because the white/red combination was not nearly as popular.
