Grading
Overall BGS 9.5 GEM MINT
This particular copy is graded a BGS 9.5b with the 9 subgrade on corners.
Rarity & Collectability
For an uncommon card, this is fairly low population with only 13 copies of which only 5 are quad subgrades or above. This particular basic 9.5 copy has some corner wear, especially at the top right of the card. Even so, it presents very nicely even though it isn't the most sought after of uncommons.
Impressions & Artwork
Dan Frazier paints a Viking warrior bracing against a cold wintry blast. Although I've never thought about it, I wonder why the card didn't depict the ice storm destroying a piece of land instead.
Usage & Gameplay
This card was the green equivalent of stone rain, but what was odd about this card was that it went against green's color identity to some extent. It was the only reason why Mastro's famous land destruction deck was in green, which I have been reimagining.
